ooo g

I dropped out of high school recently. Im 16, and I got a full time job. Nowwwww what….?

It’s weird because I LOVE my full time job as a sales associate at a populat clothing store, but i get paid minimum wage. I also moved out on my own – rent is 600 a month with everything included – the roomates treat me as family, cooks me food, helped me find job, let me use computer, tv, EVERYTHING, and i couldnt be happier.

I often hear that the quality of life depends on your happiness, but if i get a higher paying job after i go ack to school (or get a GED), and go to university or colledge, will i be happier? I dont really know what kind of proffesional job I want. I NEVER want to be a medical person such as doctor, nurse, dentist, etc,. and I dont want to be a accountant or…. a graphic designer (even though i am EXCELLENT at drawing realism and anime)…….

I want to know what i want to do with my life. should i stay a full time sales associate? or eventually go back to school and get a high paying job? and the thing is, i do poorly in school. i rather just go shopping

Maybe you should think about retail management. That way you keep your retail job but you have more responsibility and better pay. Or maybe a technical school that has a culinary program. You could become a chef or do catering!

I remember that overwhelming feeling of not knowing what you want to do as a career. Don’t panic. Everybody feels that way. You’ll know when you find the right job.

I can’t encourage you enough to, at the very least, get your GED. From personal experience I can tell you that people judge you for not having a high school diploma. You can be the brightest most capable person in the world and without that credential, people just won’t give you a chance. I waited two years before getting my GED. It was the best decision I ever made. Don’t listen to what people say about the GED test being hard. It really wasn’t. Good luck!

Well, you have already answered yourself and you have practically made up your own mind what you want and what to do. What other kind of opinion would you still be looking for and would you even consider the opinions?

To be honest, teenagers at this age never really enjoy studying. Majority feel it is really a waste of time. It could be true in some way. Some people are not really good in studying but they have natural talent in making money. I’m not sure which type of person you are. If you already can make your own living without any qualification, then there’s really no point of going back. However, you can always consider of getting a higher education just for the sake of your parents and probably a higher salary in any jobs you are interested at. Trust me, if you would have applied for this current job with a higher qualification, you’ll probably have a higher pay. I’m sure everyone is happier to have more money. Everything is about money unless if you disagree with me. Money is what makes you own a happier and more comfortable life.

So bottom line is, what’s your own personal goal? You have to know how to achieve it. If you have big dreams then you need to ask yourself how to be filthy rich or you are happy with what you earn that’s enough for your monthly bill. Honestly, professional jobs can never really make someone rich. Starting your own business is a way to get rich provided that you know what you are doing.

You seem to get defensible easily. Your English is not perfect. It may be acceptable for a 16 year old.

You are happy now because you are away from an abusive environment.

As you get older you will not be satisfied with making a minimum wage. Your roommates will change as they move, go on to new pursuits, or get married.

well lazybones…just don’t expect everyone else to make your living for you. It’s pretty obvious from your grammar that you need to go back to school and quit being a burden on society.

It seems your looking for approval for your choices, because the content of your question has the answer.
