I am taking 3 AP courses and 3 other honors classes. Plus I have SATs to worry about. Should I drop something?
AP US History
AP English Lang & Comp
AP Chemistry
AS Physics
A/G Calc
Spanish III Honors
I am a dedicated student who also plays on a team after school for at least 2.5 hours. I am extremely worried about time and the many hours of sleep that will be lost. Last year I had a lot of sleep deprivation and I just didn’t feel well…but the thing is, I got straight A’s in the end and it felt wonderful, especially having summer vacation after. However, I just don’t know if I can do it again. I absolutely love to learn and I am extremely excited about the classes, but how can I possibly enjoy them if I will be too busy trying to keep myself awake? The hw loads will last until 4 am. The classes I am considering switching out of are either APUSH, AP Chem, or AS Physics. I am more of a math/science person, but I hear APUSH is an amazing class. Do colleges look down on those who don’t take it?

Colleges won’t look you down, crap they will still be drooling over you man. Have fun, you are young. You may regret it. High school passes by you fast and when it does you can’t act like a kid anymore.
You cannot drop AP, I think after like May 19, you cannot drop (or have fun trying to). But the honors classes should be no problem to switch or drop.
I took APUSH last year, and it was easy! It’s probably the easiest of all AP classes out there, so don’t drop that one! I don’t even think you can now.
You’re taking 2 science classes at an advanced level. I say drop one for Study Hall and do the other next year. Or drop to the normal classes.
