I don’t get why some people are scared of going to high school. It’s like middle school but bigger. Some advise is not to go out with any guy that goes to your school. And don’t get caught up with being popular. If it’s meant to be it will happen. Be yourself and pay attention in class. Say no to drugs and you’re all set. By the way if you haven’t already, don’t lose your virginity if you can make it through ninth grade you can make it until your 18. Seriously.

High School is a great experience. I just graduated this year, and looking back, I wish I would have gotten to know and talk to more people. I gradually became used to high school, being fairly shy about it my first three years, and senior year figured, “Why not?” meeting and getting to know anyone I could. Going in I had frightful thoughts, but knew as long as I had friends that were with me, it would be alright. The funniest thing is, everyone feels exactly as you do, wondering if they’re going to fit in, make friends. Entering with confidence is key, and you will realize that it is a great place to develop social skills, work ehtic, and responsibilty. Good luck, and have fun.

I don’t want to be alarming here but you should be scared about high school. It’s the worst time of your life. Whoever says otherwise probably was the “cool” one in HS. The only good thing about high school is that you can skip more. I skipped a lot and it was nice. I could read more. I even skipped with some of the teachers and we went out for coffee.

Im in year 10 now at high school & theres nothing to be scared about its alot bigger than middle school and when you get ya time table within like the first 3weeks you will know your time table off by heart! at high school its easy and if your worried about bullies just get in a fight with them and beat the crap out of them thats what I did and I havn’t had any Probs in Years!

you shouldn’t be scared. i am going into sophmore year and i was nervous for my first day, i wlaked in and i instantly began to talk to old friends and made new ones and i had no reason to be scared at all

don’t be nervous, just don’t mess with the upperclassmen, u can talk to them, but don’t mouth off to them thinking that u r better. when u r nice to them they r nice to u. trust me u will be comfortable when u r with ur friends and when u go inside
