Universities don’t care where you got your diploma from, they care about your performance wherever you were. Your GPA and transcript as well as extracurriculars are what universities look at, not where you went to school.

There are a number of high schools with the name of James Madison. I am familiar with the one In Brooklyn, New York.
Some colleges have an open admission program where they will admit anyone who has a high school diploma. Many colleges require that in addition to a diploma that you score a certain grade in the SAT or on similar tests. Schools also look at your grades, the subjects that you took, extra-curricular activities, an interview and a written essay.
Speak to your high school guidance counselor. He will advise you as to which school you should apply.
