Do you see any point in this? Advanced classes question?
I’ll be a sophomore this year in high school. I’m going into pre-IB classes. I’m signed up to take all pre-IB classes except for science. Pre-IB science at my school is supposed to be the hardest class you can take in all of your years of high school. I’ve heard horror stories about it lol.
I want to be a journalist or some other type of writer after college. So I don’t really need advanced science classes to do this.
Do you think that I should switch to doing the pre-IB science though, so then I can get the IB diploma? Or should I just stick with my current schedule?
PS: I’ll be on my high school’s gymnastics team and do gymnastics classes after school so will doing all pre-IB/honors classes be too hard to do with gymnastics?

Taking IB science woul be a waste of time for what you really want to do, and it sounds like you won’t have the time to do the homework.
I wouldn’t do it just to get IB honors, unless you want to give up gymnastics.
