TIP: When you get to school and the bell rings, go to your locker and put your morning-period books into your bookbag. Then, right after lunch, go to your locker and put away your morning-period books and put in your afternoon-period books. It means you only have to go to your locker twice a day (not counting after school) and you can save your time for getting through the crowded hallways!

On the first day, teachers often just want to go over rules and expectations. Then you can ask them if you’ll need your book from now on.

On the first day, bring a folder, some notebook paper, and some pens and pencils. That’s really all you need.
