Why?
It depends on the school. Some will allow it, just not in class.
Some don’t allow any type of electronic devices.
You don’t need it, and it will probably get stolen anyways. If you want it to walk home or something, that’s ok, but be careful, because you need to hear cars and people trying to sneak up on you!

Here is the general rule of thumb for any electronic: if you are not willing to lose it or have it taken from you, do not take it. Most schools have rules against carrying mp3 players and cell phones. To be on the safe side, you should leave it at home.

Most schools have a policy to take away ipods from students (for a certain amount of time) as they tend to disrupt learning. This also includes cell phones as well.
So you can take it but you can’t use it or show it during class.

Its probably not allowed, but you should be able to get away with it as long as don’t try to show it off to your friends. But then if you can’t take it out what’s the point in bringing one unless you just want it to listen to in the bus or car.

Check your schools handbook… See what it has to say about taking electronic devices to school. Find out what the punishment is if you’re not allowed to have them…. You don’t want to get in trouble.

Most schools don’t allow electronics. Generally, as long as you keep it in your bookbag, it’s fine. Some teachers will let you listen to them while you work in class, but be sure to ask first.

Well yes i suppose, but be warned if they catch with it they will confiscate it. Sometimes they let you off with a warning. My advice would be if you take it keep it in your back pack until school is out.
