Why are school graduations such significant events in our lives?
How can our own or others expectations diminish or destry the impact of recieving our diploma and graduating? What does graduating symbolize to us? What does it mean to have a high school diploma?

Graduating?! First, it is like ANY rite of passage of becoming an adult, responsible at that. A high school diploma is an open door for employment….you can get schooled and work at the same time. Without the “Key”, you’re locked out of a higher opportunity. Unlock your potential, open anything anywhere and be successful at it.
Think of a kindergartener, who most times and places only go to school for half and less than half days and longs to be with the big kids….. he/she graduates or moves from the “little kid” stage to a “Big kid stage”, kind of like pull-ups to REAL underwear. It’s a big moment in their life to be JUST LIKE THE ONES AROUND THEM THAT HELPED THEM GET THERE!
They will feel more accepted.
