Why be a nurse, be a doctor instead.

There are multiple ways to go about this, depends upon what you want at the end of your education. There’s RN (diploma), BSN, ADN (Associate’s)…it sounds as if the BSN would be your next logical step. Find colleges near you and talk to thier advisors. Get several ideas…see what focus each school has, nursing board pass rates, types of clinical rotations, etc.

If you are considering an MSN or NP degree afterwards…check to see if the college offers that as well…

Somone above also mentioned medical school – if that’s your choice….you’d best talk to a pre-med or medical school advisor. That academic direction would require you take a different path, although some nurses do go on to medical school.

Whatever you do, make a plan and go for it.

Well it depends on where you live cause in my area(Hackensack, NJ) there is an LPN class you can take and it will be easier to become an RN. Im already a Medical Assistant as well and those are the steps I am taking.

It really all depends on what you’re looking for. I would probably apply first at a community college because they’re generally a lot cheaper in tuition than at a university.

I suggest you get some brochures of school’s your interested in and decide from there. Maybe take a campus tour to see if it looks like what you’re interested in.
