Enviormental problem?

We are supposed to be writing about an enviormental problem and find out how we can prevent it and send a letter to our state legislator…

But i dont know what to do??

would microwave popcorn be one because it causes cancer and the FDA is still approving it?? (or does that not count?)

One environmental problem you should look at, depending on where your from, is the air quality in your state. Is there a lot of emissions that produce carbon dioxide in the air? Also, how is the quality of water in your state? Those are two environmental problems. Another question might be about the quantity and quality of forests in your area. Are companies destroying land to build homes or roads on? Is Wal-Mart taking over too much land? Cancer is not an environmental problem, think about things that directly affect our planet. (:

You should try to find out your states carbon dioxside emmisions. Because that is probably the very worst problem in the world. if not just talk about that sort of stuff. And how clean your parks and forests are. Also the people hired by the state, are they polluting the environment? I also think it so awsome that ur doing that. And its also cool how it HAS to be on the environment, cuz thats the worst problem.
