How do i tell my neighbor to write his own essay, he tells me to edit, but its so bad, i end up writing it?

This kid go accepted into this super smart school which you can only get into by taking a test or writing an unbelievable essay, you can graduate with an associates degree from that high school. the kids cousin who is a doctor wrote the essay and he got accepted. THE KIDS IN ESL In MIDDLE SCHOOL. So he has this summer essay writing, and he is stupid. Terrible grammer, i mean, comeo on. I told him today i would finish editing (writing) it tomorrow, how do i tell him to do it himself. Should i TELL him what to do, and tell him to do it?
