Is it possible for me to get my GPA back up?

I’m at a 2.5 GPA right now. I have three quarters or seven classes left to finish. Is it possible for me to get my GPA up to 3.5?

it is pretty hard to get your GPA up when you have so little time left to do it. I know, I tried to bring mine up from worse than that, with more quarters to do it in.

Even if you get all A grades for your last three quarters, it is only about 45 credits out of about 180 you need, and the mathematical possibilities are not in your favor.

I worked my fingers to the bone, got 3.5-4.0 for the last 2 years of college, and got my GPA to 2.9. I was really sad because I figured I wouldn’t get into grad school. But when I went to talk to them, they interviewed me, not my GPA. And, they based my entrance on maintaining a high GPA for the last two years, not my whole college career.

Funny thing was that I went a summer quarter after graduating and figured it would pull me up the rest of the way to a 3.0. Instead, they started over again. So I finally had a 3.5.

knock yourself out and overachieve these last 3 quarters and let those grades do your talking. Otherwise, transfer to another school. sometimes they don’t count the grades from the first school in the new institution’s GPA

good luck

If you get lotsa high B’s and A… no C’s.. Try for mostly A’s

Just work ahead of your work. Tell your friends “not now, later” and make sure you have everything down before the test. It’s difficult at first, but once you get your A’s you’ll want to study more.

Get all A’s – if you can take a couple of easy long credited classes that you know you can get an A- it will pull up. It defiantly is about the amount of hours you are going to recieve

I don’t think so. Here something you can do. Compute seven more 4.0’s into your gpa and then you’ll know exactly how high you can get your gpa up.

no. i’m sorry. its impossible to bring it up to 3.5. your 2.5 is weighted more heavily since you have a lot of classes contributing to it. if you took the same amount of classes as you did as the past, you could only bring it up to 3.25 assuming that you got 4.0.

It will be difficult if not totally impossible. In fact, if you only have 7 clases left, I’d say it’s not possible even with making straight As.

Start paying attention in class and lay off mind-altering substances such as marijuana, alcohol and Oxycontin.
