Study 1 topic for 20-30 minutes. I like to take key elements and make flash cards. I know this sounds childish, but it works for me! I study like 5 at a time until I memorize them. Then I add a couple more to the mix. I have a very short attention span, so this study technique works the best for me. I seem to do well on tests.

I presume you must have spent a lot of time studying before taking the exam, whether you are in high school or university for the moment.

If you have spent effort in studying in the past, dont panic because there is only one week time left. Be calm, revise the chapters that is very likely to come out in the exam, you can look at past year exam papers to find it out, or during your lesson time, the teacher should have given you tips on which chapters is the most important and likely to come out in exam.

Your study environment will be very important to you during this week, if you are unable to concentrate in your room or your living place is too noisy or distracting you from revising, go to a quiet place like public library or somewhere you can concentrate.

Get yourself a revision plan, you have one week time, start with revising the subjects that you are most comfortable with as it will boost your confidence and give yourself a good start in revision. Allocate your time properly in ensuring that every subjects are given enough time for revision.

Never do the revision with your friends, sharing tips through telephone will be alright, doing revision with friends will only distract you from revising effectively.

Revision for exam is a hard and pressure time, you will need a peace of mind and lots of encouragement, whenever you need support, call your best friends or talk to your family, ask them for encouragement.

As you will be spending a lot of time revising, your mind will need extra support to burn the midnight oil, drink coffee or tea to keep your mind awake but dont overdo it. Remember, sleep is still important! If you get sick during the exam, it will be a nightmare.

I have been through lots of exam during my high school and uni times, just do your best during the exam and with good preparation, everything will be fine. Good luck!:)

i think you should start studying now which you feel they are difficult to understand and do not put too much pressure on yourself. Just go through over the lessons and lectures but be sure that you understand them. And about two days before the exam just relax do not read the lessons because it will just put pressure on you and you will also forget the one that you have studied before. that’s all. think it might help you.

I hope I can help.

I sleep early, and wake up at 3:00 a.m. Then I start reading three times. After this write what you have instilled in your mind in a piece of paper and after writing, compare it to your original notes.

Another is by a pair study. I don’t recommend a group study, but a pair study.

Lastly (this thing is a long-term benefit, but I don’t know if it works in one week), eat dark chocolate. DARK! This helps improve memory.

you can always start by reviewing homeworks or past exams if available…. you can always team up to study or at least ask around your classmates to see what they think about the test and ask them what do they think its important and why…. make yourself some notes, dont be embarressed to ask! because when you ask your classmates they might even have some information that you dont have and everyday start by asking and then go home and see if you can find it in your books that way you can remember who told you and the section of the book….

also as i suggested before look and try to understand better your homeworks and exams…. make notes of what you really dont understand and start asking around….

Good luck!!!

i like to sit back relax and find a way to be really interested in what im studying and find out what im really supposed to be learning. then i write some really important facts and do the re-write thing so it gets burned in my head and then i write questions to myself and try to answer them, till’ i’ve mastered it and feel 100% for the test. sometimes ill throw on some quite music like classical in the background but that can sometimes distract me. good luck =)
