It depends on your school system. I went to a school that offered AP courses that allowed you to get a 5.0 out of 4.0 for an A so I graduated with over a 4.0.

GPA is Grade Point Average so the type of classes has no bearing on that. The classes you take will be imporant as to the school you can get into after High School talk with a consuelor about that. With most school a 4.0 is as good as it gets. That would be straight A grades for 4 straight years.

The highest is a 4.0 GPA, which means you would have all A grades. It does not matter which classes you take, in any class if you get an A it will improve your overall GPA.
Work hard for next year!

The highest is a 4.0 GPA, it doesn’t matter what classes you take, it’s how you preform in the classes. You need to get straight A’s to have a 4.0 cumulative GPA
