Springfield, Ohio?
Recently my boyfriend and I discovered that Lagonda Elementary School was demolished. Does anyone have any info on it? When it happened? Why it wasn’t reported as much as other school demolitions? Just curious. I’ve searched the internet, but haven’t found anything. Thanks.

In the summer of 2003, the city of Springfield tore down 13 elementary schools and built ten new ones as part of a $166 million school facilities project. Lagonda was one of the schools demolished. This was reported in the June 6, 2003, Columbus Dispatch. Your local library may have access to LexisNexis; if so, you could see the article and perhaps find a bit more information. Give them a call!
