the first day will be cause you are nervous knowing you are going to a new school and you know your high school years are great…so relax and enjoy them…take lots of pictures and enjoy every minute of them because four years goes by fast and then you gotta be an adult and its not always fun even if you get to be the boss

It is a little scary for the first few weeks..just because it’s a new school, new people, new atmosphere etc.. but you’ll get used to it. I mean, I hated high school after my first day.. but my freshman year turned out to be amazing. Just give it time. You’ll make tons of new friends. Make sure to get involved & enjoy it because it’ll go fast!

to be honest, yes it is scary. it is a whole new adventure in your life. the first day will be scary because its all new and you are the “freshman”. however there are tons of other kids in the same boat as you. and all of the upperclassmen were in your shoes when they were freshman.

don’t believe the stories of upperclassmen being mean to the freshmen, because its not true.

just take a deep breath when you walk in the first day, and remember that day will be over soon, and then the best is yet to come! good luck!

i was a freshman last year…it’s not like what you see on the TV shows where the older kids stuff you in lockers, take your lunch money blablabla…well depending where u live i guess. i was in all honors so all i saw were a lot of asians n nerds =/ which sucked but they’re better then the rest of the stuck up snobs n the guys who try to get in their pants. but beware there are a lot of drugs n never get into that. just focus on your school stuff (it pays off in the future..really) but don’t stress yourself to much (like i did doing homework and studying from 5 pm – 2 am..you will have no life) good luck

Nah, shouldn’t be. I had an easy time of it, but I was also in the marching band starting that summer, and had already made friends with some upperclassmen. So maybe try joining some clubs, or electives or whatever.

I will tell you though, sophomore year is by far the best.

No, first year of high school is the easiest and the most funniest year! You better enjoy it while it lasts untill Junior year, which is going to be hard. Don’t listen to all those stupid stories about freshmen friday and all that. Freshmen year is the best year of high school.

I’ve been a freshman for 1 week, so far.it isn,t that scary.If you had friends from middle school,that r going 2 your high school,u could hang out with them.

NO WAY! You meet all kinds of people and it’s sooo much better then Middle School!
