in my country,Internatonal students can defer their courses when they have problems,Is it the same in the U.S?
In SA,international students can defer their courses when they arrive in the country and report at theie various Universities,and so i would like to know if any International student in the U.S can decide to defer his/her time for schoolling after reporting at the University?If No,why cant it be possible?

This probably more has to do with the type of visa you come into the United States on before the Universities policies. A lot of universities will allow an admitted student to defer taking classes for a certain period of time but if you come into the US on a student visa, you do actually have to be an active student to stay in the country.
