I need help, my daughter just told me that her husband is “cooking” crystal meth. What should I look for?

My daughter has two children at home both under the age of 2 and is married to a man that seemed fairly decent at the time. The problem is, he seems to have turned into a horrible monster in the last year. He has beaten my daughter senseless and burned her with cigarettes, threatened to kill her, the kids and her family just to name a couple of things. He loaded them up one night and left and none of her family heard from her for over a year.His family knew where they were but refused to tell me anything. To make a long story short, my daughter managed to go to town with her mother-in=law one day with both children and she was able to find a way to call me. I immediately went and got her and the children. She told me that her husband has been “cooking” crystal meth, his has an uncle that somehow got out of doing 80 years in the pen for three manufacturing charges. What I need to know is what to look for as far as how it is done or what is used to make it. He doesn’t need to be free.

Look for & SMELL their house when you go there, if he will let you in…It will smell horrible…like gases (annhydrous ammonia)…other…get those kids out of there immediatley! That place could blow up at anytime if he makes one false move while “cooking”! Contact the sheriffs office in your county but get the kids out of there first or they will take them (welfare)! Also look around the house for car batteries(battery acid) and lots of sudafed (generic or whatever), empty containers( for the fluids), be very careful and don’t touch any of these things as they can burn your skin…..

If he is using I would imagine that he is awake all hours of the day/night, his pupils are huge, he has anger management problems and that is why he lashes out at your daughter, he has what are called crank bugs which are just sores all over his whole body and face that look horrible…from him scratching and digging at himself, he is probably losing weight at a noticable pace..all of these are signs that he is using… Good luck…

Call the cops and let them know that you suspect that house is a meth lab and also inform them that you believe your daughter is being held prisoner by her husband. They probably won’t care too much about the marital dispute but when you mention the drugs they’ll run right over. They’ll also be able to get him for abuse when your daughter is able to show them the cigarette burns and I’m sure a few x-rays will show some of the other damages she has suffered. Get a restraining order and always call the police if there is any problems; they may not be able to do a lot at the time but having all the stuff on a police file will definitely help. Good luck.

Have her meet you somewhere while you call the cops. You don’t want him being around her while the cops are being called because he will do something stupid. You guys probably need to move somewhere else and make sure you are not listed anywhere, just in case he decides to try to find you guys. There is usually no way to help a meth personality. I tried to detox a friend that was on it and I think that she is back on it already. Good luck

If your daughter and grand children are NOW out of the house.. Call the police… they will handle it all….

IF your daughter and grand children are NOT out of the house… Call the police… and child protective serivices… and be prepared to BE at the house when they show up…. Your daughter is going to need you… Be ready for her to move in with you until she get on her feet…

She is living in a VERY dangerous place… and she and the kids NEED to get out of there… ASAP….. CALL the COPS… don’t let this man take your daughter down with him..and possibly harm the kids at the same time…..

call the police immediately. They will find the operation he has at home and he will not return.

He is so stupid and methed out that he hasn’t cleaned up any of the stuff at the house. Now is the time to get rid of him.

Get your daughter out and call the police on this guy. Crystal Meth can explode and cause a fire. I’ve seen it on news where the whole house gets into flames. Please read this article, its very helpful.

Looking for something won’t be a problem. It will look like a lab out of a Frankenstein movie. That’s not what you’ll notice first……….the smell will be unmistakable, it will have a chemical odor, it’s “HIGHLY” flammable. Being even close to the house will tell you if he’s cooking.
