My daughter’s school rules are you must have graduated from the 10th grade. All of the Academies are different though one of them states you must be “working” toward your high school diploma or a GED, so in my state if you have either of these you are good to go 🙂

Yes it certainly is possible. My high school had several hundred students who wanted to be and were taking cosmetology. Shortly before graduation the seniors took the state boards and were licensed.

This was a vocational high school.

Your district might have a similar program. Ask your guidance counselor.

Most beauty schools now require a high school diploma or GED to enroll. Check with the school you are interested in attending.

Check with you local school system, many schools have skill training including cosmetology, of at least they do where I live. This way you could train while still receiving credit for your classes. If not look into a local training center.

You can get your equivalent or GED and go to cosmetology school. Double check with a couple schools to make sure they accept that. I don’t believe they are too stringent.

Im not sure but I dont think you can get a cosmetologist’s license at 16, call your state board and ask.

I believe that once you get you high school diploma you can but its pretty ahrd to without one

if there is a vocational school in your area they should have cosmetic classes. mine does
