what do you do after your exposed for plagarism?
a dear friend of mine was recently caught for plagiarism, and the institution that she goes to ( cal state? ) may kick her out. what are some options for her?? i told her that she could go to a community college, but im not so sure of that either. anybody know some options? [besides work] she wants to continue her education. Plus, will she be unable to attend any other institute?

She may talk to the teacher. At my school you get an F in the class but can continue attending the university.

She could try some online classes in the event that she couldn’t attend a community college.
I’m aware of what can happen if she is turned in to authorities but I’m not exactly sure what the consequenses of Plagiarism is in regards to being able to transfer to another school and such.

The former school will not automatically reveal the reason for expulsion, but the new school may inquire and find out. Your friend can apply to other Universities and try her luck or just attend a community college; they’re not picky.
