You can transfer any time you want. If you are thinking of transferring, make sure you take courses that are transferrable to the school to which you want to transfer. You can check with the admissions office of the new school at any time in regard to transfer requirements and also acceptable classes for credit. They’ll help you make sure your courses are transferrable even though you’ve not yet applied.
