How would I be able to get a 4.0 average in high school if I got D’s in 8th grade?
Can I really change that quickly/easily?
Tips?

You can get a 4.0 since your grades start over. I had around 3.5 in jr high and got a 4.0-4.3 all through high school. So you can change rather quickly.
Just try to get a little more focused, try not to worry about petty things and more about school.
Flash cards
actually reading your text books
taking notes
all those help
even if you don’t get a 4.0 still try as hard as you can, college like good grades!

It depends on why you got all d’s. Were you just not trying or are you not that bright? Not evertbody is 4.0 material so if you can pull off at least a 3.0 it would be a impressive accomplishment compared to where you were. The key to good grades is to be organized and on top of all your work.

You can follow the tips given in one of the aswers of this question. I changed that quickly, once. I went from a 2.6667 to a 3.8 in a couple of weeks. You have years, don’t you? It’s easy, IF you take notes, pay attention, etc., etc.

quit screwin’ around, complete & turn in all homework assignments, any extra work that you can do, do it. If you have problems in any certain area, look into getting a tutor, or another student who’s exceling, and ask them to help you out. Yes, you can change that easily, if you want to change. If you don’t want to change, you won’t. It’s all up to you.
