which one do colleges want? unweighted or weighted? or the better one? b/c they’ll see your transcript anyway so why do they ask?

They want your GPA on a 4.0 grade scale. They do not always get the transcript at the same time, and also, they use your GPA to give you scholarships, loans, or work study as well sometimes.

Collages always unweight you GPA, so I don’t know why High Schools do it when it will get unweighted anyways. I guess for rank in graduation.
