If you have a public library in your area – get a membership card so you can borrow books & radio shows on tape or CD, DVD movies, TV Shows on DVD.
Some libraries even have “talk hour” prorgrams for English as a 2nd or 3rd language. So you can talk to one other person and become comfortable that way.
Watch Public Television (PBS), BBC or CBC, Discover channel or local news channels.
