Writing help: I need descriptive adjectives for these words…?

Here are the sentences. Tell me what I can add to describe the capitalized words please. You can also add any other descriptive words to the sentences. That would be great. I’m trying to make my short story as descriptive as possible. If I don’t capitalize a word, add descriptive words to any part of the sentence. In my story, the waters are calm, bear, and warm, but they are floating on a raft because pirates took their ship and threw them overboard. They’re on a bamboo raft they made on the island they swam to.
