what substances can b used to lubricate a glass tube before it is insrted into a stopper?
i need this for physics class, plz help me!

Don’t you mean the other way round? Before a stopper is inserted into a glass tube?You can lubricate with Vaseline, or with olive oil , but I guess you need to know what your using it for?Different experiments may require a powder lubricant or a liquid one. Depends.
