Rounding?Hurry! Answer This Quick!?

When Rounding it tells me to round to the nearest tenth. and the decimal is 6.439 do i under line the 4 or the 6?

round it to 6.4 :D. What you do is pretend the decimal and the 6 and 9 isn’t there, now you have 43 round it to the nearest 10th you get 40 then add back the decimal and 6 tada! :]

Underline the 4. Just think of it as if the decimal point was a number, and you have one more, it’s the same # of digits as the number “10”. If you used 6.44, it would be rounded to the “hundredth.”

the four because thats in the tenths place the 6 is in the ones place.

Isn’t that like 2nd grade math.
