If I remember right, an obtuse angle is any angle greater than 90 degrees, but less than 180 degrees, so to find the possible values of x, solve the inequality

180>3x+24>90

(subtract 24 from all the values)

156>3x>66

(divide all the values by 3)

52>x>22

so the possible values of x are any number greater than 22, but less than 52 (52>x>22)

If it’s obtuse, you know the measure is greater than 90 degrees but less than 180, so

90 < 3x + 24 < 180 66 < 3x < 156 22 < x < 52

By definition, acute angle is one which has a value less than 90 degrees So, 2x-2<90 2x<92 x<46 Now, it depends what kind of variable x is Case 1--> x is a real number Then there will be an infinite possibilities for x Case 2–> x is a non-negative integer x can have 0,1,2,3…………….45=> a total of 46 values. Hope it helps!!
