When you are dividing powers of the same variable, you can subtract them so reduce these first i.e so reduce these first. ie 121q^6/11q^2 = 11q^4 and 6z^7/36z= z^6/6. The final equation is
11q^4 z^6/6.
When multiplying powers of the same variable, you can add them.
When dividing fractions containing powers, just change it to multiply and flip the numerator and denominator of the second expression i.e.
2/3 / 2/3 = 2/3 *3/2 = 1
For example 10x^2 * 5/x = 10x *5 = 50x. Test it by plugging in 3. (10*9) * 5/3= 150
reduce or add the powers first and then reduce the numerals. Test the original and final equation by plugging in numbers
