Pre Calculus problems please!?

Hi, I really need some help with some precalc questions. there are quite a few. Thanks in advance!

Find all points having an x-coordinate of -21 whose distance from the point (-5, -14) is 34.

A hot air balloon is headed due east at an average speed of 6mph at a constant altitude of 190 feet as it crosses an intersection. Find an expression for the distance in d (in feet) from the balloon to the intersection “t” seconds later.

Determine the intercepts of the equation x=y^2-1 algebraically.

List the intercepts of y= (x+9)^(1/2) (aka square root). is it symmetric to the x-axis, y axis, or origin?

List intercepts of y=-6|x|-2. Is it symmetric to x axis, y axis, or origin?

Thank you so much for your help. I’m looking for answers more than explaination, because of limited space, but appreciate whatever you can do. This is all done online for me through my math class, so AHH!!! Thanks again!!!

distance = sqrt(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y10^2)=34

x1=-21 y1=? x2=5 y2=-14

(-14-y1)^2 + (5 -(-21))^2 =34^2

196+28y1+y1^2 +26^2 = 34^2

196+28y1+y1^2+676=1156

y1^2+28y1-284=0

solving, y1=7.9 or -35.9
