Bill Shaeffer is very upset that his basketball t4eam is losing in the championship game to the Stallions of Shelby High.He considers injuring the players of the other team on purpose, he decides not to at the end, was his choice of not going through with it ETHICAL?

Bill made a very ethical decision in this case. The real question here is are YOU making an ethical decision in posting your homework for others to do.

It depends on what set of ethics you are going by. If you are following a “Greater Good” set of ethics, then it would be possible to argue that he did the wrong thing. Still, people conventionally would say that his decision was the ethical thing to do as he was acting on a maxim that most people would agree is one that you would want everyone to act on.
So yeah, most people would agree that it was the ethical thing to do.
