Grammer help, make it better, INTRO.?

One in three Americans feel they are not living the “American Dream,” and nearly half of them believe it is unattainable. In a way, the American Dream is also an “American Nightmare.” There are millions of people, not just Americans, who work very hard every day and never have enough money nor the basic necessities. In context, the American Dream of Of Mice and Men is clearly expressed through the following three passages: One is through Steinbeck’s use of Curly’s wife would-be actress wife, she dreams about how she could have been an actress, if her old lady let her come with an actor. She is loner and marries Curly and to get attention on the ranch, until she gets the attention of George. Steinbeck illustrates this point, when Lennie tells George, that they can make enough money, working at the ranch in Soledad to buy their own ranch. Until Lennie runs into trouble with Curly, Eventually, Lennie could not resist touching Curly’s wife’s hair without killing her. Unfortunately, Lennie dies before they can, face the grim reality that dreams are not meant to exist. Lastly, his use of Crook’s realization, that blacks are excluded from the myth of the American Dream, and he is pushed around and ran over by society; he has a quaked back, and not much of a use. The American Dream being nothing more than a myth, to all people, colors and what they are.

It looks pretty good to me… hm- oh, you say “she is loner” add the missing ‘a.’ Maybe introduce the characters a bit at the start- if thats what the teacher wants. Maybe say why he has to kill her to touch her hair? Whatever.
