For each pair of points, there are six points that could be the third vertex of an isosceles right traingle. Find the coordinates of each point. (0,0) and (5,5)

Just tell me how to do it since the answer is in theback of the book.

Let the points be O(0,0) and A(5,5).

Two of the required points are:

at B on the x-axis, with OB = AB;

at C on the y-axis, with OC = AC.

Draw lines DE through O and FE through A, both perpendicular to OA.

Make:

DO = OA;

EO = OA;

FA = OA;

GA = OA.

D, E, F and G are the other 4 points.
