Just before taking the SAT and/or PSAT, are you required to have the memory of your calculator erased?

i.e programs will be gone

I’m an ACT prep teacher at the Princeton Review.

It’s supposed to be erased, but sometimes they don’t do it. It just depends on who the proctor is and if they remember/care to erase it.

Just so you know, you can answer all the questions in the math sections using deductive reasoning and basic algebraic and arithmetic concepts. If you don’t believe me, try it by taking one question and going over each answer choice before trying to figure it out. You’ll notice that at least one if not more of the choices are way wrong just on sight. You can narrow the choices down to one or two possibilities and then use basic math to decide which is right. Just try it and I bet you can get most of the questions in a practice test right with time to spare. You can do it without a calculator. The whole object of the SAT is to see how you work under the pressure of knowing you’re taking the test along with millions of other people. If you can remain calm while taking the test, you will do better than most other students who stress out about it all. Work through lots of practice tests and practice using the answer sheet format and you’ll do well.

No I dont have faith so. i did no longer take the SAT, however the ACT is quite like the SAT and all they did replaced into examine to work out in the journey that your calculator replaced right into a TI-eighty 3 or comparable. If the SAT web site would not say something approximately deleting courses then i does no longer difficulty approximately it.
