I need help with a math problem?

There is a summer camp that has 2 kinds of tables. The large table sits 10 people. The small table sits 8 people. The large table gets 4 pizzas and the small gets 3 pizzas.If the pizzas are shared equaly will the large table get the same amount of pizza as the small table? The ratio of the large tables to small tables is 8:5 If there are 240 campers and enough chairs for each person how many kinds of table will they need

There are two unknowns: large tables and small tables.

There must be two equations.

10campers/large + 8campers/small = 240 campers

8large = 5small

Substitute and solve.

16 large ones

10 small ones

240 kids= 16 lg. tables(10 kids per lg table) + 10 sm. tables (8 kids per sm table)
