If you issue a cheque,for instance, for an amount of $ 1250/-,
how will you write it in words in the chque leaf – say one thousand two hundred and fifty or one thoudand and two hundred and fifty. Which is correct grammatically? Please
note the ” and” in between thousand & hundred.

The and should go before the last amount or number even if is cents.
