well isuues of saftey in schools circulate on behaviors, talk about expeccted behaviors of classmates, then talk about the no guns policy, no fighting, bullying, respecting each others cultures..etc.

School safety could deal with bus issues, walking to school issues, strangers in school, locking doors, school signal for teachers, practice drills for stranger in school, playground safety, hall safety(running, slippery floors), toxins and chemicals in materials in school, health issues in schools due to old buidings, cafeteria safety issues around the handling of food, parents bringing in home made treats and concern of passing diseases, bullying to classmates, discrimination issues, etc.
