If you are making a report:

A comparison of NFL pensions with (and here you can fill in either NHL or WWW or supermarket clerks or whatever you are using for comparison)

If you are doing an essay:

National Football League players give their all during their careers, but the payback after retirement doesn’t reflect that effort.

If you are doing a thesis and need a hypothesis to work with:

NFL players are grossly undervalued when it comes to pensions.

Then go on to discuss the matter – give present pensions and past pensions, compare it to other groups that have the same problems – a short playing career and the possibility of many years on pension, the difficulty of getting good-salaried jobs after retirement, etc.etc.
