How do I do this?

the problem is a graphing problem, where i choose varables for X and solve for y, so i can graph it.

it’s X = Ysquared + 2

Sorry for the confusion!

do you mean Y=Xsquared +2???

coz the other way round doesn’t really make sense..

anyway draw a grid and choose variables for X..like -2 to 2 for example. take the number 2. Y would then be (2)squared +2 which is 6…………

so do that for a few variables..or some..then plot the points X and Y on a graph. for example, when x is 2 , y is 6 so it would be (2, 6)!!

at the end u get a little squared graph!!

the easiest thing to do is make Y -3 through 3 and solve for X. (IE: when Y is -3 X=?, when Y is -2 X=?…….). X will always be positive. Use those points to graph.
