diff question for science hmwk..?

i need help on this worksheet we got called “Do Cold and Hot Water Freeze at the Same Time?” we have to make a hypothesis about it before we do the experiment. sooooooo, pls help.

i have this info:

• The freezing point of water is 32 Degrees Celsius.

• People believe that hot water freezes faster than cold water.

• The ideal temperature of hot water is about 100-120 Degrees Fahrenheit.

• The ideal temperature of cold water is about ____(didnt figure that one out yet)

• Hot water molecules have more space between them than cold water molecules.

• Hot water will dissolve a material quicker than cold water will because materials dissolve in water as their own molecules fill the spaces between water molecules.

so thats it. thanks!
