find length of given perimeter…there are 3 sides
P=34 cm
one side=4x+5
the other side=3x-2
A=P+Prt…need help with steps…thanks

sorry i did it wrong, there are 3 sides…
one is 4x+5, the other is 3x-2, the other side is
34-4x+5+3x-2 or 37-x……
so all these added up now equal 34 cm…..
numbers first… 5-2+37 or 40,
and the x’s: -x+4x+3x or 6x,
so 6x+40=34,
take away 40 on each side
6x=-6
x= -1!
