finding domain of each function?

gwahhh.. difficult homework. help please?? how would you the following three problems. i have 20 of these bad boys.

1. f(x)= the root of 9 – 4x over the root of 2x – 1

2. f(x)= the root of ( 8x – 4 over x – 3 )

3. f(x)= ( 9x – 2 )^3/2

This isn’t that hard. You are looking for values of x that will work. The easy way is to identify what wont work. For instance in number 1, since you are working under a square root sign then you cannot have values of x that will make it negative under the radical sign. for instance 2x-1 set >0 so that you get 2x-1>0 which means x>1/2 That would be the set of all items that work for that one part. You also have to include the radical that is in the numerator. So you say x must be greater than 1/2 and x must be greater than…..you can do that math.

It is the same for all three of these problems. You are looking for where the function is undefined because of a negative under a radical or a division by zero problem or something like that.
