I wouldn’t know how to find the prices of those particular items, since there would have been great regional variations as well as differences between 1950 prices and 1959 prices, but you might try using this inflation calculator:
http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/cpicalc.pl
Most items cost approximately eight times as much now as they did in the fifties, so you could find the price today and divide it by eight to get a rough idea. Of course it isn’t true of everything. Gasoline, for example, used to cost around a quarter a gallon or less in the fifties.
