Say your dream job is to be CEO of a big company. Could you write about a day where you are?

If not, just try listing some things that you’d like to do. Then build lists of why you want to do them, how you would do them, etc.

Organize the info in clear sections of the day, then add details.

(Example)

First you’d wake up

– 10 Am

– How the day is so far (cool sunny and warm, with a breeze coming in through the open window)

Have breakfast in bed

– What type of foods it would be

Take a hike

– Where you’d go

– What you want to see

– Would you have lunch on a cliff overlooking the ocean?

Then all you have to worry about is sentence structure and word choice.

Flying throughout the world

Going to Switzerland and hearing lectures by the ESA (European Space Agency)

Going to Paris and visiting all the historic and art museums.

Going to Athens and visiting all of Greece while visiting the historic first philosopher sites (that still exist.) or an outdoor music concert at the Acropolis.

Visitng the University of Glascow and sitting in on a Health or Biometrics Research Lecture

If you’re still panicking, here’s some suggestions.

– If you’re usually a busybody, you could say…”I would spend a bit of my time to relax. Give myself some inner peace, a time for me.”

– If you’re one of those adventurous people out there…”I’ve never had the opportunity to actually see what’s out there. (Unless you did. >_>) I’ve always wanted to see…”

– If you’re one of those charitable people, you could write…”I would try to make a difference in this world by spending some time in the local soup kitchen, or bide my time cleaning the neighborhood. I know I am naught but a single soul on this large, large world, but if I made someone’s life brighter, perhaps they could pay it forward.”

– If you’ve always had a certain goal to do something, perhaps you could say…”Ever since I was (age), I’ve always wanted to do [something]. But since I’ve been busy with my education, I’ve never had the opportunity to fulfill this goal. On my day of solitude, I would set out on my mission in hopes of accomplishing it. Perhaps I never will, but at least I tried.”

College ain’t high school. You either do the work or you flunk out. Recess is over; this is real life.

Six hours; better get cracking instead of wasting time here.
