The grammar is fine; but I have problems with your choice of words. Categorically means emphatically absolute – no ifs, ands or buts. The word carries the weight of an auctioneer’s gavel. “Speaking” defeats the purpose by qualifying it. You are trying to say that when you say “never”, you mean it. “Quite literally” might be a way of doing that.
An example of what I consider an appropriate use, “I am categorically opposed to Terrorism.”
