Biology Help?
I started Bio honors this year (freshman) and I thought I was on top of the ball. I studied alot for my first test ( 1 hour per nite for 1 week) and i thought i did well. Today I got it back. I along with half the class got a C. I need study tips and a suggestion.

get yourself index cards and write the sections vocab words of the text on the back and the definition on the other. also make yourself a review of each section, like answer the questions and the chapter reviews on a sheet of paper and save them. or write down important concepts of the chapter and draw illustrations on ur index cards.
if you are trying to memorize elements this method could help: try making something up like King Hecto Doesnt Mind Drinking Chocolate Milk (kilo, hecto, deka, meter, deci, centi, milli) but with the elements. i did this last year but i cant remember any of the ones i used, sorry.
anyway your teacher should help u with this hope it helped

if half the class got a C, the teachers doing something wrong.
also, for studying, go to extra help nights with your teacher and make sure you study hard every night.
i dont see how you could have studied that long and only got a C….but now you know what kind of things your teacher looks for on the test…if you need to vocab, processes, things like that.
