Bill Of rights?

Can someone Explain the 9th and 10th amendment to me in very very simple words….THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!

IX simply means that just because the constitution identifies specific rights that does not mean that people do not have other rights not specifically mentioned. The constitution lists certain rights. The nineth is saying that people have other rights not specifically mentioned in the constitution.

X limits the powers of the federal government to those specifically given it by the constitution. Those powers not prohibited to the states are reserved for the states or the people.

Eg. The federal government makes treaties (the senate is given the power to ratify treaties and the executive branch the power to enter into them). The states cannot do that because the constitution gives that right to the feds. The states and the people however, can make laws about street signs within the state. The federal government is not given that power.
