2 multiple choice world history questions — southeast asia/europeans/dutch trade?

i have looked absolutely everywhere and i really cannot find the answers to these questions .. anyone who could help would be my hero! 🙂 thanks in advance

I think its A and C because the Dutch did control the Spice Trade in the 17th Century – one the reasons is that Britain swapped some of their settlements in the spice islands for a Dutch settlement called New Amsterdam on the east coast of America – and that of course was renamed New York.
