Keep an eye out for local newspaper ads. My favorite has always been Staples and at school shopping time they offered deals like 5 packs of paper for $2 or 20 folders for $1. Their products, even the Staples brand, are top-notch and the selection is fantastic. In my neighborhood, the store has a list of required supplies from the local schools. We just grabbed a list for my kid’s grade and shopped away.

I hate walmart but their prices cannot be beat. Target is where I would go but if your looking to save money go to the biggest retailer of all time, WALLY WORLD.
