How do you determine how much you pay per semester hour?

If they say 59 dollars per semester hour and you want to take one class?

each course carries with it a number of semester or quarter hours. Usually it’s from 2-4….now the courses that are unimportant and are electives and have short term are usually the 2’s and there are very few of those. Quarter hours are the 4 per course. But you’re asking about semester hours so it’s probably 3, so 3 credit hours x $59 – $177 for that course, but check your catalog for the amount of credit hours that course is. Each book costs about $50. I don’t know if there will be any other charges or if you will need more than one book.

I suggest that you determine the number of times classes meet for 1 semester and then multiple that the number of hours by $59.

Good Luck!

The answer depends on how many credits a class is worth. If it was 1 credit, it would be $59. If it was worth two credits, it would be worth $118. In addition it depends upon if you filled out the financial aid form for government grants or need based college scholarships. I have included some links which should help.
